The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the National Commercial Manager as part of a sales team of dedicated Commercial BDMs, the primary responsibility of the role is to generate significant new business growth and improve share of wallet within the SA Commercial Customers allocated to your territory. Leveraging B2B digital technology to secure business relationships and increase sales and efficiencies.

As a Repco Commercial BDM your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to).

  • Manage the territory in line with Repco’s Customer Value Proposition, collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to meet the requirements of the strategic business plan.
  • Maintaining a customer territory, leveraging our CRM program to maximise business opportunities and sales growth.
  • This role includes regular travel within SA
  • Attend Sales Meetings, Trade Shows & Product Training as required.

To be considered for this opportunity, your history will demonstrate:

  • Industry Business Development Management experience is preferred in either of the following sectors:
    • Automotive
    • Industrial
    • Local Government
    • Transport
    • Commercial Hire
  • Prior achievement in areas of responsibility, specifically sales results, customer relationship development and territory management.
  • Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to negotiate, influence decisions, facilitate outcomes and achieve results.
  • Sound business acumen and numerical competency.
