Our State Equipment Manager (QLD) assists their team to implement business strategies, systems and processes that enables the delivery of superior service standards, innovation and a continuous improvement culture.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Grow the equipment business, improving market share and profitability

• Provide leadership and support to the Equipment team

• Influence the GPC network to deliver an outstanding customer experience and generate leads

• Maintain and enforce a safety first work environment

• Develop the equipment business into a combined generalist and specialist function, building the profile of the team while supporting the Store Network.

• Drive and increase sales

• Develop and enhance the professional development of the team

• Participate in trade shows in metro and regional areas and travel as required

The successful individual will:

• Be strategically minded and business outcome focussed

• Be a passionate leader with a customer excellence outlook

• Have leadership experience of a commercial sales team at a state or national level

• Demonstrate change agent qualities

• Show a positive demeanour with an open communication style

• Hold a valid driver’s licence

• Relevant industry experience
