A rare opportunity has arisen to appoint a Commercial Finance Manager to join the Commercial Finance team in our Rowville based support office.

The purpose of this role is to provide the Commercial Finance support for the Technology Division of GPC Asia Pacific, providing business partnering, and commercial finance insight to the Leadership Team of the Combined Automotive and Industrial businesses.

The role supports the Tech Leadership Team in championing key change and improvement activities that will increase profitability, efficiency, and cultural change across the organisation.

As a Commercial Finance Manager your duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Provide commercial finance business partnering support and advice to the Tech Leadership Team.
  • Keep senior management fully apprised of changing financial conditions and their potential impact on the business, to position the business to proactively act on a timely basis.
  • Lead the Tech Division's Financial Planning and Analysis activities, including rolling forecasts, and annual budgeting.
  • Review and oversight of Project Capital spend, and business case financials where required.
  • Ensure financial records are maintained and accurately reflect business performance.
  • Work with audit teams (internal, statutory, SOX, compliance) ensuring their work is completed efficiently, and material findings are promptly and adequately addressed.

 Your background and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or post-Graduate degree in relevant field
  • 5 years + demonstrable experience in Finance related roles
  • Advanced stakeholder & relationship management skills
  • Competent from an analytical and numeric perspective and able to effectively communicate to non-financial team members.
  • Confidence in presenting results to stakeholder groups.
  • Strong business, finance, and commercial acumen.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (capable of distilling complex financial analysis into actional insights for business leaders).
  • Excellent management, operational, financial, and administrative skills.
