Full body:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented local purchasing supervisor to join our team in Cooper Plains!
You will assist with the flow of goods into branches in accordance with the requirements of the national sales branch network. You will oversee our Local purchasing team in providing stock replenishment in accordance with branch stocking profile using MRP tools.
Ensuring we source at highest quality products and services at competitive prices, while also maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the Local purchasing team to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement of materials and services
- Responsible for purchase and transfer of products for resale from approved vendors that satisfy customer requirements in terms of timeliness, quality, and quantity.
- Expediting supplier`s orders and updating prices and confirming delivery dates for overs
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationship
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent disruption in supply.
- Collaborate with other departments
- Prepare and present purchasing reports to Procurement Manager.
Who are you?
- Proven experience as a purchasing supervisor or in a similar role.
- Strong negotiation, leadership and communication skills
- Computer literate at an intermediate level
- Analytical mindset with a knack or problem solving
- Work autonomously within a team environment.
- Ability to multitask and priorities your workloads
