About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on WarehouseSupervisor - Incoming Department to lead our inbound warehouse operations. This role is responsible for overseeing container scheduling, unloading, mark-off, and put-away processes to ensure goods are received on time, in full, and undamaged.
The role is a permanent full-time position working on a PM roster (2:15pm to 10:36pm).
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all inbound warehouse operations including container scheduling, unloading, IBT processing, mark-off, and put-away.
Ensure goods are received on time, in full, undamaged, and recorded accurately in the WMS.
Monitor stock accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and report shortages or damages promptly.
Coordinate yard movements and manage container timelines to avoid detention and demurrage charges.
Maintain high standards of stock handling, storage, organisation, and warehouse housekeeping.
Champion safe work practices and ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
Supervise, coach, and develop team members to drive performance, flexibility, and engagement.
Support inventory control activities including re-slotting and quality checks.
Promote continuous improvement and effective use of warehouse systems and business technology.
Ensure company policies, procedures, and APG Values are consistently upheld.
What You Bring:
Proven experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in an inbound or receiving function.
Strong leadership and team supervision experience.
Sound understanding of inventory management and warehouse systems (WMS experience preferred).
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage discrepancies and reporting.
Commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
