We are looking for an Workshop Fitter Machinist to join our team in Eagle Farm QLD. This role is a for a mechanically minded person with good attention to detail.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated and adaptable as the job requires. Be a team player but also be able to work independently, have the hunger to grow your career!
- Build and recondition driveshafts for automotive, commercial, off highway and industrial applications
- Machine driveline components
- Assemble, weld, and balance driveshafts
- General workshop duties as required
As a Workshop Fitter you will be reporting to the Branch Manager.

To be successful in this role you need:
- Well-developed fitting and machining skills obtained in a workshop environment
- Sound mechanical aptitude and knowledge
- Experience operating manual lathes and welding equipment is essential
- Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility with job tasks
- Ability to participate in ongoing training and openness to new ideas
- Proven safety and quality focus and able to perform assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with company's polices & procedures
- Willingness to work as part of a team and do whatever is required to help achieve business targets
