State Trade Sales Manager Repco - NSW

Lead a team of sales professionals for Repco NSW. Based in Metro and Regional areas of NSW. Travel required.
The Role:
A State Trade Sales Manager is responsible for leading their team of sales professionals & delivering on sales, targets & strategy for your channel. You are also responsible for the culture across the team – and inspiring a focus on safety, inclusivity, high-performance, accountability and customer-centricity.
Your week will involve 3-4 days spent on the road meeting with your team and customers with the remainder in the office completing admin and follow-up tasks.
The ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with our customers and help us to stay relevant in the market is essential. You will need to balance the needs and desires of our customers, with the commercial realities of our business – and guide your team to do the same.
Key responsibilities include:
- Hitting the sales and trading margin targets for your channel – balancing competitiveness with commerciality.
- Delivery of strategic priorities as requested by your line manager.
- Attend customer-facing events to build relationships and drive sales momentum.
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of each of your team members, including the compliance with all WHS requirements.
- Maintaining key relationships with your customer base and team to build our target customers and drive those relationships to achieve our sales goals.
- Travel within the state to build & maintain customer & team relationships.
- The composition of your team, and their capabilities to do their jobs, including developing your team and addressing any underperformance.
- Effective utilisation of co-driver.
- All other tasks as directed by your manager.
To be successful you will have/be:
- Previous experience in a similar position / field sales role within the automotive aftermarket industry.
- Demonstrated team leadership responsibilities and experience.
- Proven ability to build and develop effective teams, working both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills & high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
