The role:
Reporting to the Store Manager, with the retail team members reporting to you in a dotted line structure, you will play an integral role in leading and developing the team whilst drawing on your exceptional retail knowledge. You will implement and champion retail strategies that drive excellent customer sales, service, product knowledge and overall store presentation standards that result in Repco being the number one choice for all customers. You will also:
Prioritise safety as the most important aspect at work.
Work closely with the Store Manager in leading the operations of the store to achieve success with a strong focus on product knowledge to customers and store presentation.
Live, breathe and role model genuine service, creating moments that matter for our customers.
Take a shared role in being responsible for the store in the Store Manager’s absence.
About you:
Our next Retail Supervisor will:
Demonstrated ability to support in managing, motivating, coaching and leading a team.
Exemplary customer service, sales and communication skills.
Proven ability to develop, build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong experience and understanding of merchandising and store presentation.
Creative flair when developing and setting up displays.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Sound mathematical and literacy skills.
Basic computer literacy, able to use MS Office suite.
Hold a valid driver’s licence.
Have the physical capacity to perform the duties of the role (including handling products of a heavy nature).
