We are seeking a reliable and skilled Workshop Hose Assembly Fitter to join our dynamic team in Mackay.  In this role, you will provide efficient, accurate, and high-quality manufacturing services for our hose assembly and hose management programs both in our factory and on site.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Manufacture and test hose assemblies to Australian Standards
  • Perform workshop duties including works orders, scheduling, fitting, and cleaning tasks
  • Safely represent the company when on site, adhering to Workplace Health and Safety guidelines
  • Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Operate forklift and conduct basic non-trades maintenance within the warehouse
  • Use computer systems to manage stock control, purchase orders, invoicing, and customer enquiries
  • Assist with stock receiving, storage, inventory checks, and maintenance of a clean, safe working environment

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in hose assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse operations is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of workshop procedures and safety practices
  • Forklift licence and experience operating warehouse equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Physically fit to perform manual handling including lifting items over 25kg, reaching, twisting, and pushing trolleys
  • Capability to work in both internal and external environments safely
