The Role

Join GPC Asia Pacific's Payroll Team based at our Rowville Support Office. To be successful as our next Payroll Officer, you'll be a motivated and detail oriented person, who is eager to learn and who enjoys working in a fast paced environment.  This role is fixed term, 7 months. 

What You Will Be Doing 

• Prepare/assist in the preparation and payment of wages and salaries, accurately and on time
• Maintain pay records including timesheets, leave records and related information
• Reconcile payroll, payroll tax, superannuation payments and authorised payroll deductions
• Utilising Payforce ADP
• Assist the payroll team when required, especially during various pay cycles
• Generate ad hoc payroll reports as required

About You

• An interest in Human Resources, specifically Payroll
• Workday experience highly regarded
• Ability to multi-task
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
• Experience working in a fast paced dynamic environment
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• An understanding of relevant legislation
• Display a high level of confidentiality
• Highly developed interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Be a proactive and driven individual with a ‘can do’ attitude
• Able to work autonomously and within a team environment
