Join our Finance Shared Service team at Motion Industries as an Accounts Payable Officer, where you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring efficient accounts payable operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices and requisitions accurately and timely.
• Maintain up-to-date and compliant financial records.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies before payment.
• Provide support and documentation for audits.
• Respond professionally to internal and external inquiries on accounts payable.
• Support month-end closing and prepare financial reports.
• Test and support updates to the financial system.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, staff, and finance leaders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and cost control initiatives.
• Comply with workplace health, safety, and company policies.
• Participate in training and maintain professional work standards.
• Perform additional duties to ensure efficient finance operations.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ Years experience working in similar role in large Accounts Payable Team
• Experience in processing large volumes of invoice in fast paced environment
• Proficiency with spreadsheet applications and word processing programs
• Experience with financial software packages, D365, Pronto and OCR - CAAPs
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop action plans
