About the Role

As Commercial Finance Manager – Technology, you will provide critical commercial finance support to the Technology Division of GPC Asia Pacific. You will act as a key business partner, delivering financial insights and analysis that empower the Technology Leadership Team across our combined Automotive and Industrial businesses.

You will lead Technology Division financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and project CAPEX management, playing a pivotal role in driving profitability, efficiency, and cultural change within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Trusted Advisor

  • Provide commercial finance business partnering support and advice to the Technology Leadership Team.
  • Keep senior management informed of financial changes and potential business impacts to enable proactive decision-making.

Analysis and Insights

  • Lead Technology Division’s Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and reporting activities, including rolling forecasts and budgeting.
  • Monitor Project Capital spend and work with Group Accounting to refine Capex reporting and project accounting processes.
  • Prepare financials for business cases, conduct post-implementation reviews and track business case benefits.

Team & Capability

  • Promote GPC Asia Pacific’s values and foster a work environment that embraces diversity, trust, and respect.
  • Collaborate closely with the GM Finance – FP&A to ensure effective business partnering.

Governance

  • Maintain accurate financial records reflecting business performance.
  • Support internal, statutory, SOX, and compliance audits and address findings in a timely manner.
  • Enhance systems of corporate governance, including financial reporting and controls.

Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S)

  • Champion safety practices ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and company policies.
  • Participate actively in OHS discussions, workplace visits, and audits.

Other Expectations

  • Adhere to all GPC Asia Pacific policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned by your manager.
