We are GPC Asia Pacific: one of the largest industrial and automotive aftermarket parts and service suppliers in Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia.
Our iconic brands include Repco, NAPA, McLeod Accessories and Motion.
Due to growth, we are looking to add an additional Group Leasing Manager to identify, source and negotiate new and existing leasing contracts across retail and trade sites nation-wide, for our multi-brand business.
Reporting to the General Manager of Group Property, you will be based in our Rowville office, collaborating with a team of property professionals in this fast-paced, supportive and growth-focused environment.
Your responsibilities include:
Utilising your industry contacts and networks to identify suitable development or new retail sites across our multiple Automotive and Industrial brands.
Review and negotiate existing leases, tenures and relocations to maximise cost effectiveness and make-good requirements.
Analyse and research up-to-date rental market rates prior to entering into property negotiation conversations.
Manage risk and any associated compliance for property transactions.
Review property locations with a view to consolidate multiple sites where commercially beneficial.
Provide an analytical and strategic lens to the property leasing portfolio by reviewing and optimising long-term and financially sound outcomes.

About you:
Proven industry experience in a similar position, sourcing new retail locations and sites on a national scale.
Experience in negotiating new leasing terms, surrenders and renegotiating on existing leasing contracts.
Established landlord/agent networks and relationships within the retail property leasing space.
Effective communication skills with the ability to build respectful, quality relationships and to stay calm under pressure.
