About the role:
An opportunity exists for a People, Culture & Wellbeing Advisor to join our passionate and supportive team. Reporting to the People, Culture & Wellbeing Business Partner, you will work closely with People Managers and Team Members in delivering pragmatic and commercially sound HR advice and support to our Supply Chain & Logistics team.
Supported by a talented, diverse and geographically dispersed People, Culture & Wellbeing team, you will be working in a supportive environment, where you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a best practice operation; you will have a high level of autonomy, though you will never be alone should you require support or advice. No two days will look the same, and every day will provide you with new and exciting challenges.
As our new People, Culture & Wellbeing Advisor, your focus will be:
Provide high level, consistent advice to the business (eg cyclical activity, people process & systems, performance, capability, remuneration, recognition, engagement and recruitment)
Support with transformational activity across our Distribution Centre network
Coach and support People Managers in how to best lead, inspire & engage their teams
Guide key change initiatives as our business continues to transform & grow
Provide best practice support to Line Managers with Employee Relations cases as escalated from the PC&W Hub to ensure timely, consistent, fair interpretation and application through performance conversations, disciplinary conversations, fitness for work/non-work-related injuries, and complex workplace investigations
Coordinate the performance review, talent & succession, and development planning process in conjunction with the PC&W Business Partners
Coordinate the employee engagement survey and support PC&W Business Partners with execution
Support PC&W Business Partners with local PC&W cyclical activity, aligned to the national agenda
Support with the talent and attraction of Graduates and provide support throughout their program
Support safety programs and initiatives, as well as assisting the OH&S team
Positive contributor to all PC&W deliverables, and an engaged member of the wider People, Culture & Wellbeing team
To be successful you will have:
A customer centric, people-focus, and passion for delivering commercial HR solutions
Commitment to building strong working relationships and engaging with all levels of the business
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent coaching, communication, planning and influencing skills
Self-motivation and initiative
HR generalist experience in multi-site, dual-format and/or retail operations (ideal)
Well-developed knowledge of current employment legislation and HR practices, particularly ER related
Relevant tertiary qualifications are preferred
