We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to lead and support our accounting processes, including the accurate and timely completion of month end reporting.

Your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform Financial Accounting including adherence to month-end, quarter-end and end of financial year global reporting calendar.

• Perform analysis on actual trade results including provision management commentary and insights. 

• Perform and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations including investigation for open and aged items through to resolution. 

• Ongoing continuous improvement of business practices to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and execution of efficient and effective processes

• Work with audit teams (internal, statutory, SOX, compliance) ensuring their work is completed efficiently, and findings are promptly and adequately addressed

• Assist with preparation of statutory disclosure as required 

About you:

• CPA / CA qualified 

• 5 years of demonstrated experience in finance related roles

• Strong stakeholder & relationship management skills in transaction processing and engagement in process improvement

• Adaptive skills: data analysis, analytical and strategic thinking, problem solving, planning and organisation, presenting, results driven, interpersonally savvy, inquisitive, self-managing, influencing and effective communication

• Competent from an analytical and numeric perspective & able to effectively communicate to non-financial team members

• Confidence in presenting results to stakeholder groups and partnering to drive process improvement 

• Previous experience leading a small team of 1-2.
