GPC Asia Pacific is currently seeking a talented customer service expert to join our finance team as a Store Network Credit Officer on a Full Time basis, to compliment our talented team in our Rowville Support Office.
What You Will Be Doing:
Customer Service
• Make and receive phone calls from customers and our store network
• Handle customer complaints and resolve queries
• Process journals to resolve banking/receipting issues
• Provide genuine, friendly, prompt service
Debt collection / credit control
• Contact customers/stores and investigate reasons for late payments and payment options
• Negotiate a payment plan for customers
• Place accounts on stop credit as required
• Check and investigate disputes or discrepancies with customer accounts
Account Maintenance
• Account maintenance and set up
• Set Credit limits for customers
• Ensure appropriate security processes
Reconciliations and Receipting
• Ensure all Key Accounts are reconciled
• Reporting as required
• Administration
About You
• Customer service experience
• Looking to kick start your professional career, or an experienced person wanting to join a stable, progressive company
• Be available for a full time
• Be willing to work a rotating roster, Mon-Fri 8am and 10am starts
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and develop strong professional relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate mathematical and literacy skills
• Intermediate computer skills, and confidence with excel
