We are currently seeking a Supply Value Chain Manager to lead the development and implementation of collaboration to improve supply operations.

Your duties and responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating and driving the collaboration process between GPC Asia Pacific and Suppliers.

  • Leading the framework for engagement and champion best practice management.

  • Utilise both the Supplier and GPC Asia Pacific information tools available to align business assumptions to deliver best in class data, delivery models and KPI’s.

  • Highlight risks that have been flagged to the GPC Supply Chain team and instigate all discussion or communication based off the foundation detailed across data and reporting.

  • Support the management of inventory and waste with our Merchandise team and Suppliers.

  • Identify & drive strategic initiatives - joint business plans (supply, merchandise & commercial), risks & opportunities (projects). Including driving Logistic efficiencies and establishing E2E cost saving and/or cost avoiding initiatives through total business.

  • Take proactive action to ensure that WHS practices and policies are in place to provide a safe environment for themselves and all team members, and adhere to legislative requirements, company expectations and other safety initiatives.

To be successful in your role you need to:

  • Experience in managing deadlines, problem solving and prioritising work

  • Experience in supplier collaboration, International B2B Supply Chain and Logistics experience

  • Demonstrated Leadership and people management skills

  • Master Data and technical knowledge

  • Commercial acumen and strong communication skills

  • Experience in a distribution network
