About the Role:

As a CNC Machinist, you will play a vital role in our workshop operations, producing high-quality components and ensuring the smooth delivery of our machining services. This is a hands-on position that requires precision, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain CNC and manual machining equipment to produce components to exact specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical instructions.
- Perform quality checks on machined parts to ensure adherence to tolerances and standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines and customer requirements.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all workplace health and safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a machinist, with proficiency in operating CNC and manual machines.
- Strong understanding of machining techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Relevant trade qualifications in machining or engineering (Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent).
