Warehouse Supervisor

This is a great role for a keen individual that is currently a warehouse leader or an experienced warehouse person that’s ready to take the next step. You’ll be responsible for assisting the smooth operation of the Warehouse area, to ensure logistical performance meets the requirements that have been agreed.
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will manage a small crew and will be reporting to the Branch Manager.
Your role:
- Provide back-up support to other staff members in the performance of job duties as required
- Lead the implementation of KPIs and goals that communicate direction and provide a clear focus for all staff
- Maintain good work relations with superiors, peers, subordinates and internal as well as external clients, such as contractors, supplier, and service providers
- Liaise with direct reports to ensure that all activities within your business are effectively reported
- Promote feedback and reward individual and team achievements.
What you need:
- Certificate or Diploma in Warehousing or experience in a similar role
- Previous warehouse supervisor experience
- Valid forklift licence and drivers licence
- Process improvement mindset with experience in implementing better ways to complete tasks.
- Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility with job tasks
- Customer service focus with all stakeholders
- Attention to detail and solid organisation skills
- Must have a 'can do' attitude and motivate others to get the job done
