The Role
As a Credit Controller your focus is to interact with our valued customers and manage their credit accounts. Liaising regularly with both customer and Branch Managers, exceptional communication skills and customer service is a must to ensure prompt attention to account queries, payment processing, account reconciliation's and maintaining file records.
Credit control and maintenance of allocated branch ledgers
Prompt follow up of overdue debts by phone and letter to customers and contact with branch managers
Effectively communicate with customers and branch staff and promptly attend to and resolve queries
Advise Branch Managers of disputed debts, credits required, claims etc.
Maintain accurate records and filing system
Assist with other administration functions shared by the team.
Skills & Experience
Experience, attitude and team fit are key for this role. Our credit office are outgoing and down to earth people and it is key that we bring someone on board who can work well as part of our small team.
Previous credit control or account receivable experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
An open and friendly personality, able to communicate well with customers and their team
Computer literate (proficient in Excel & Word)
Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
Skilled in account reconciliation
Must be a team player
