Mechanical tradesperson required for workshop and onsite servicing of hydraulic & pneumatic equipment.

About the role:

  • Workshop modification, reworking and testing of new hydraulic components to meet customer’s individual requirements
  • Manufacture and testing of hydraulic power units
  • Report on equipment following disassembly and inspection
  • Ability to work independently and lead other staff members
  • Onsite hydraulic support for local customers


About you – Skills and experience: 

  • Trade qualifications (Mechanical) as a Fitter, Turner & Machinist or Plant Mechanic w/ hydraulic experience 
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Fitting experience with fixed and mobile plant applications 
  • Understanding the importance of accuracy and quality 
  • Fault finding and experience with fixed plant and mining equipment desirable 
  • Low voltage electrical experience will be an advantage
