Opportunity for an experienced warehouse Operations Manager to join a global brand & lead our team to ensure Safety, Service, Sustainable Productivity
The Role
Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, you will provide direction and leadership for the Distribution Centre Operations Management Team, actively liaise with GPC Asia Pacific Key Appointments and Team Members to ensure KPI obligations are being met and exceeded.
What you will do:
Ensuring the safety of all team members, contractors and visitors
Oversee allocation and completion of tasks to warehouse operations management and team members and ensure that tasks are completed to the standard required by GPC Asia Pacific.
Identify operational inefficiencies or potential problems, develop and implement strategies for the resolution of problems whilst maintaining effective performance and productivity.
Deliver Customer Service to agreed KPI standards.
Budget management
Positive Culture sustained and development as part of SLT onsite
People Leadership and Coaching
Provide leadership and ensure that all contractual obligations are as a minimum requirement delivered to standard. The expectation is that service and delivery expectations will be exceeded beyond agreed standards.
About You:
Operational Management experience of 2 years and above in logistics / DC environment
Intermediate to advance excel
Cert 3 in logistics and transport is preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strengths in Change Management and have a learning mindset.
Budget focused whilst providing great leadership
