What is the role?

Due to our further expanding operations, we are excited for the opportunity to add to our growing team by seeking a dedicated Automotive Technician or Automotive Electrician to join our team in Wollongong, NSW.

You will be required to carry out vehicle inspections to an exact standard, including road tests to ensure all vehicles are returned to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications, using an OEM Scan Tool and aftermarket diagnostic equipment and software.

You will be required to diagnose, repair, calibrate, code and program components such as LED Matrix and Laser Spot Lighting, Supplemental Restraint System (SRS), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Radar, Camera, LiDAR, Electronic Steering, Pedestrian Protection, Body Electrics and so much more!

What do we expect from you?

ADAS is looking for our next driven technician that brings a self-motivating, can-do attitude when connecting with customers, team members and suppliers. We’re looking for Technicians that:

• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology

• Hold a minimum of 5 years' industry experience with a Main Dealer or recognised aftermarket background (desirable).

• Show a demonstrated capability to inspect and diagnose vehicles to OEM standards.

• Have a current Australian Driver's Licence (Class C) with clean driving record and prior experience driving a Long Wheel Based Vehicle.

• Have Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) accreditation is highly desirable.

• Focus on high quality outcomes and exceed customer expectations.
