Join us to drive the successful delivery of Motion Conveyance Solutions sales initiatives and projects for conveyance products across the Auckland Northland region. Collaborate with all Motion branches in the area to achieve business goals while upholding our commitment to professionalism, safety, and company values.
What kind of work may be involved?
- Drive sales and gross profit of Motion Conveyance Solutions products in the Auckland Northland area across all sales channels.
- Provide sales support to branches, key account negotiations, tenders, proposals, and the broader business within the territory.
- Collaborate across the business to improve overall sales, profitability, and develop best practice systems using market and competitor insights.
- Analyse customer trends and support sales plans and strategies to meet current and potential customer needs.
- Identify new product opportunities through market research to increase profit potential.
- Manage customer experience directly and through the team, ensuring customer-centric activities and professional relationships.
- Establish and maintain effective, positive relationships with sales teams, customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Promote a cooperative work environment, ensure company property is maintained to standards, attend training, and perform other duties as required.
Ideal skills & experience:
- Over 5 years’ experience selling conveyance products, preferably lightweight conveyors.
- Ideally experienced in installation and technical support of conveyance products.
- High customer service focus.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to close.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good team-building capabilities.
- Strong product knowledge.
- Knowledge of health and safety systems and practices.
- Understanding of logistics processes and lead times.
- Current full driver’s license as travel within New Zealand will be required.
