We are looking for an experienced Workshop Fitter to join our team inMackay.This role is a for a mechanically minded person with good attention to detail. You willbeself-motivated and adaptable as the job requires.

What your day to day looks like:
Buildand reconditioning driveshafts for automotive, commercial, off highway and industrial applications.
Machineof driveline components.
Assemble,welding, and balancing of driveshafts.
Generalworkshop duties asrequired.
Skills and experience:
Well-developed fitting andmachiningskillsobtained in a workshop environment.
Have a sound mechanical aptitudeand knowledge.
Experience operating manual lathesand welding equipment is essential.
Demonstratea high degree of flexibility with job tasks.
The abilitytoparticipatein ongoing training and be open tonew ideas.
Proven safety and quality focus&performassigned duties in a safe and responsible mannerin accordance withCompany's Health & Safety policies & procedures.
A willingnessto work as part of a team, and do whatever isrequired, to help achieve business targets.
