This is a mobile site service role operating both independently and in collaboration with other Motion departments across multiple locations. This position delivers on-site industrial hose services directly to customers, strengthening relationships and positioning Motion as the preferred service contractor and supplier.

What kind of work may be involved?

  • Manufacture hose assemblies to required standards and within agreed timeframes.
  • Inspect, test, and accurately record all assemblies in the database.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and satisfaction.
  • Maintain high presentation standards for the workshop and service vehicles, including scheduled equipment servicing.
  • Control role-related expenses and follow workshop procedures, including Health & Safety requirements.
  • Promote Motion services, identify site-work opportunities, and support regional workshop productivity.
  • Deliver prompt, courteous service to uphold Motion’s reputation and build a strong, repeat customer base.
  • Participate in ongoing training, comply with company policies, and support team and business operations as required.

Ideal skills & experience:

  • Computer literate with a current, clean driver’s license and First Aid certification.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Mechanical aptitude with a commitment to gaining relevant industry qualifications.
  • Professional presentation with pride in workmanship and customer service.
  • Committed to Health & Safety, procedural compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable working in industrial environments, including at heights and away from home when required.
