The Digital & Applications Support Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery, performance, and continuous improvement of digital and e-commerce services and business applications within the organisation. This role ensures high availability, performance, and user satisfaction. You will lead a team focused on providing exceptional technical support and application management services, collaborating with stakeholders to align digital solutions with organisational goals and drive digital and application transformation initiatives.

What kind of work may be involved?

  • Oversee operation, development, and optimisation of ERP and business applications.
  • Manage digital and e-commerce channels including websites, web-apps, EDI, punchout, and integrations with ERP, CRM, payment gateways, and logistics.
  • Lead or participate in digital projects ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in scope.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and logistics teams to support e-commerce campaigns.
  • Provide leadership and strategic input to the Operations team and wider business.
  • Ensure compliance with Group policies including cybersecurity standards.
  • Manage budgets and reporting related to digital and application services.

Ideal skills & experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing digital platforms, business applications support, or IT service management in a multi-branch environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of enterprise applications, digital tools, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Proven project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management and budget oversight.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
