Technical Sales Representative

As our Business Development Managerin the rich and historic Eastern Goldfields region of WA you will be part of our well established and local team operating out of brand new premises in West Kalgoorlie.
You will be representing our Motion brands throughout the region with the knowledge and drive to provide our customers with industry leading solutions for their Hydraulic, Hose, Driveshafts, Bearings, Power Transmission and specialty industrial supplies needs.
To be a success in this role you will be a motivated and enthusiastic team member with a proven background in field sales in the mining, drilling or associated industries. You will be a great communicator, be able to work autonomously and spend time away from home from time to time.
This is a challenging yet fulfilling role that will provide you with the opportunity to be a star in your field.
Your day to day:
- Develop strong and effective working relationships with our existing and new customers, while maintaining great relationships with your local support team
- Establish sales pipelineand customer visit schedule, while minimising excess travel time and maximise effective selling time.
- Call on customers throughout the Eastern Goldfields region,including mine sites, workshops and all other places of business
- Answer customers’ questionsabout prices, availability and product application.
- Coordinate sales effort with Motion’s local team while also working with our state and national teams to ensure we have right solutions for our customers at the right time in the right place

Who are we looking for?
- Previous experience working with specialised industrial products. A Hose and Fittings, Bearings or Power Transmission background is highly desirable.
- Extensive experience providing exceptional customer serviceto clients is essential.
- Problem solving skills.
- Computer literatewith excellent working knowledge of MS office Suite
- Highly developed communicationand written skills.
- Team playerwith a can-do attitude.
- A current and valid Australian driver’s license is essential
