We are seeking a technical sales and support manager to provide the specialist sales muscle in your area of product, and application expertise.

Your primary purpose is to drive top line sales and margins across Motion by:

• Grow Motion’s share of our current customers spend in Repair & Services Wollongong area.
• Growing our market share through targeting of customers currently serviced by our competitors.
• Promoting the range of products within our sales network through sales promotions, education, and training.
• Timely product and/or technical support to sales teams
• Identifying customer trends and movements with Category Managers and Specialists

Duties and responsibilities:

• To be involved in the setting of sales quotas for your nominated category/region and then accepting responsibility and accountability of the sales targets
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the workshop team and network ensuring effective promotion of the nominated product and service range.
• Develop robust sales development plans
• Focused and effective customer calls and branch visits to support sales development plans
• Delivery of training for both internal staff and customers 

This role will be part of the Unanderra engineering and services team with opportunity to collaborate with the wider engineering and services team nationally for various projects and look forward to opportunities within other areas of the business. 

Who are you:

• Extensive experience in Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• Able to fluently read a schematic
• A sound understanding of underground mining equipment
• Trade qualified fitter as a minimum.
• Fluid power 1 and 2 highly advantageous
• Engineering qualifications highly advantageous
• Safety oriented.
• Customer Service skills.
• Interstate travelling
• Intrastate travelling on a case-by-case basis if required
